Comments: The Coral Maru was still a straight deck Jan.-Jul 1955 in the Mediterranean 6th Fleet. Heavy Composite Squadron Eight (VC-8) flew AJ Savage strategic nuclear attack bombers - the huge "whales" hated by all on the roof as the wings could only be folded manually, a multi-hour task!
