October 24, 1967 - USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) air wing CVW-15, led by CAG, CDR J.H. Linder, braved a heavy SAM barrage as they coordinated their efforts with other Navy and Air Force units to pound North Vietnam's largest and previously unstruck MiG base at Phuc Yen.
