✪ Coral Sea History ✪
April 16, 1972 - Operation Freedom Porch was conductucted whith aircraft from USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) on Yankee Station which flew sorties in the Haiphong area in support of U.S. Air Force B-52 strikes on the Haiphong petroleum products storage area.

1987 - The aft section of the island and an elevator on the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea bustle with activity as supplies are loaded before departure.
Membership to the USS CORAL SEA CVA-43 ASSOCIATION is open to all Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force personnel who served aboard the ship USS CORAL SEA (CV/CVB/CVA-43).
